THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Corporate HR Generalist & HRIS Administrator to support the organization’s corporate HR function while serving as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the company’s HRIS systems, with ADP experience preferred. Reporting directly to the COO, this role supports HR operations across multiple locations by helping standardize HR processes, improve system utilization, enhance reporting capabilities, and provide day-to-day HR support to leadership and employees.
This position serves as a key resource for HR Representatives at each facility — providing onsite and remote HRIS training, troubleshooting support, process guidance, and best practices to ensure consistency across the organization. The role requires approximately 25% travel to company locations to support HR personnel, reinforce HRIS utilization, and assist with process standardization initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong HR Generalist experience with HR systems expertise and enjoys helping operational teams improve efficiency through technology, process improvement, employee support, and compliance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Corporate HR Support
- Partner with the COO on employee relations, compliance, policy administration, and HR initiatives.
- Assist with investigations, corrective actions, performance management, and employee support.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning activities.
- Assist with workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, leave administration, and HR compliance.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, employee documentation, and SOPs.
HRIS Administration & Training
- Serve as the primary administrator and SME for the organization’s HRIS systems (ADP preferred).
- Maintain employee records, organizational structures, and workforce data integrity.
- Process employee changes, compensation updates, transfers, and organizational updates.
- Develop and distribute workforce, turnover, headcount, and HR reports.
- Train HR Representatives and managers on HRIS functionality and best practices.
- Conduct onsite HRIS training and system support visits at company locations.
- Audit HRIS processes and data integrity across facilities to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, and user guides related to HR systems and processes.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for HRIS-related questions and issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and system enhancements.
Reporting & Analytics
- Create dashboards and reports to support workforce planning and leadership decision-making.
- Analyze workforce trends, turnover, recruiting activity, labor metrics, and employee data.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to the COO and leadership team.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across all locations.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with HR audits and record retention requirements.
- Develop and maintain HR process documentation and SOPs.
- Promote consistency and standardization of HR processes, documentation, and HRIS utilization across all facilities.
- Partner with local HR Representatives to ensure company-wide adoption of HR policies, procedures, and system best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee experience, and HR effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
| WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIRED) • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. • Experience administering HRIS systems. • Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. • Experience generating HR reports and workforce analytics. • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel independently. | NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED) • Multi-site HR experience. • Experience training managers, HR personnel, or end users on HR systems and processes. • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification. • Experience supporting warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operational workforces. • Experience with ADP or similar enterprise HRIS platforms. • Experience implementing or standardizing HR processes across multiple facilities. |

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Approximately 25% travel to company facilities to support HR operations, conduct HRIS training, and reinforce standardized HR processes.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer; operate standard office equipment including computer, phone, and printer; move throughout office and operational environments to support employees and leadership; and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in a combination of corporate office and operational facility environments with standard lighting and noise levels.
