ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

At Mountaintop Search, we partner with organizations that prioritize operational excellence, workforce stability, and a relational approach to leadership. We are seeking a high-energy, strategically minded Human Resource Manager to join a premier, well-established player in the heavy civil engineering and infrastructure sector.

This is not a transactional, desk-bound HR role. This is a highly visible leadership position designed for a dynamic partner who is equally comfortable collaborating in executive leadership meetings and walking the field to build trust with a hard-working workforce. If you are Hungry, Humble, and Smart—someone who loves building scalable programs without unnecessary bureaucracy—this is your next career move.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Partner directly with executive leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, and organizational structure.
  • HR Operations & Process Improvement: Design, implement, and optimize scalable HR processes, SOPs, and performance initiatives to support regional growth.
  • Field Leadership & Coaching: Provide proactive leadership coaching to managers and serve as a trusted resource for a multi-site, field-based workforce.
  • Compliance & Analytics: Oversee HRIS reporting, workforce analytics, and dashboards to provide leadership with actionable, data-driven workforce insights.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIRED)

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in an HR leadership or management role
• Proven success supporting field-based, operationally driven workforces (Construction, Heavy Civil, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Logistics)
• Strong employee relations, leadership coaching, and change management skills
• Robust background in multi-site compliance
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and workforce analytics reporting
NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED)

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration
• SHRM-SCP/CP or SPHR/PHR certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Our client is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
